"Also, I would like to note that I feel specially inspired by Beverley's work and, the more I read her comments, the more inspired I feel, since my need for support, respect for different parenting styles, and information are fully met." Marijo

"Thanks so much for the emails Beverley. I purchased some of your books earlier in the year and they are fantastic resources, we have only started home education this year and they have been an amazing help to me! So thank you, please keep publishing!" Narelle

"Just wanted to let you know that your books have been such a help and encouragement to me . I have hungrily devoured all but one already. I was relieved to know that I wasn't the only one who didn't get it "right" first pop, and that it doesn't make me a doomed failure for the rest of my children's education." Christine W

'Thank you so much for your wonderful books and booklets. I received your books and booklets a few months ago. They have been informative, thought provoking and enjoyable reading. Thank you for your generosity in helping me to make a start in my home school adventure... The information you supply is real and generous. It is fantastic reading. I am so inspired and your honesty is so rare. Most books do not really explain "how" as well as you do. Often times I am still left feeling yes that was good information but I am still not sure what to do. But your books you explain; your first-hand experiences and what to do. I really feel I now have the confidence to develop my own learning program. Thank you for all your efforts in making your valuable information available to those of us interested in homeschooling. Thank you, thank you, thank you!"
Tracey, SA

"Thank you very much. I was in a bit of a muddle of to many work books not enough motivation and was feeling it was all to hard, then I got your books, I've read 'learning to love reading' and it has certainly given me a huge attitude change. Thank you for your inspiring words of wisdom. My children will thank you as well I'm sure. Great work."
Sheryl

"Just read the latest copy of your Homeschool Australia Newsletter and your various postings around the message boards and I have to say that I cannot seem to get enough of your writings on the whole home ed subject! You portray a lot of wisdom, knowledge and experience and your readers stand to gain much from what you write. So....please continue, you are making a difference! The more I read and hear and see, the more I know I've done the right thing by my child in removing him from school. It's not always easy however he is a different person and has gained much in the last few months. Thank you." Maree, NSW

"Its great how you have the knack of putting what I'm thinking, into clearly expressed words. Thanks for that." Gabrielle, Qld

"Thank you so much for your wonderful website!  I was getting quiet frustrated with finding appropriate information on homeschooling, especially as we will be travelling around australia while doing it, therefore limited in what resources/agencies we can use.  Thanks to your website we are now on the right track." Rachael

"I loved all your articles, Beverley. They are really interesting, practical and personal. It's great to read about someone who goes up and down in motivation/mood and getting on with homeschooling on a day-to-day basis." Amber B.

"I don't know whether I ever let you know how much of an inspiration you were to me when we were starting out on our homeschooling journey....I have most of your books and regularly peruse them whenever I feel overwhelmed or stifled or just plain tired... Thankyou for your unending support for homeschoolers ... by sharing your experiences, we are into our third year of homeschooling and enjoying it thoroughly... Thank you..." Marina, SA

photo of Beverley and Robin PainePioneering members of the home education movement in Australia, Beverley and Robin Paine are passionate advocates of true educational choice for families. They began homeschooling their children in 1986 and three years later started the South Australian Home Based Learners network. Beverley wrote Getting Started with Homeschooling in 1995-97 and since then continues to write books and booklets on home education. She balances spending time helping home educators with working in her garden and renovating her home, as well as continuing to build her collection of writing on a variety of homeschooling subjects. Beverley maintains an extensive collection of websites as well as several Yahoo groups supporting families teaching their children at home. In 2007 Beverley joined the HEA and became a committee member in 2008: she also edits and produce the HEA Newsletter, HEA magazine, Stepping Stones for Home Educators, annual Resource Directory and other HEA publications. If you'd like to keep in touch with what Beverley is up to her in her life, sign up for the Homeschool Australia Newsletter or visit her Homeschool AustraliaFacebook page.
